This room is a perfect play of color. The only other accents in the room that are rust in color are the throw pillows. This pulls the room together. I've looked at a lot of different ways of incorporating chevron rugs into my home and it can be easy to get carried away and add a variety of patterns. The splash of solid green lime colored pillows on the chairs and the shades of green on the wall compliment the rug without making the room look busy.
With so many colors to choose from it is easy to incorporate chevron into any home. The majority of the colors in this room are neutral in tone, and pick up shades of the chevron rug.
The brown and beige in this chevron rug sets the theme for the room by pulling out shades of color from the rug and adding bright colored accessories to brighten the space up.Photo: Better Homes and Gardens |
